The Tuggeranong Vikings Basketball Club has followed Basketball ACT in adopting Basketball Australia’s National Framework for Ethical Behaviour and Integrity in Basketball. We have taken this step so we are aligned with Basketball Australia and Basketball ACT in providing a safe and fun environment for our members to learn, develop and play basketball. In adopting this framework the Club and its members are to abide by it and its policies.

Should you have concerns regarding Prohibited Conduct towards a member, or displayed by a member of our Club, please reach out to our Member Protection Information Officer (MPIO) to discuss. Our MPIO will listen to your concerns, provide you with information on the framework, the various policies, how they apply and what the process may be to address your concerns within the framework.
Prohibited Conduct in the framework is defined as:
Whilst the MPIO will provide you with information on the Complaints Policy and process, the MPIO is not a Complaints Officer. Should a formal complaint be lodged in relation to Prohibited Conduct a Complaints Officer will be assigned by the Club, Basketball ACT or Basketball Australia.
